Bloomington’s Children’s Home and Aids’ annual Stuff the Bus charity event was a roaring success collecting over five and a half tons for the 20th anniversary of its top fundraising event.
The event collected over five and a half tons this year made up of diapers, clothing, formula and other essentials. Along with the 5.74 tons collected $7,5868.21.
This year’s event beat last year’s record filling up two Connect Transit buses over the course of a week at the beginning of December. After the event volunteers unstuffed and sorted the bus totaling 907.25 hours donated.
