As 2022 turns into 2023, Bloomingont-Normal will be celebrating. With many options around town, there is no shortage of ways to ring in the new year. If you are still looking for something to do on New Year’s Eve and New Years continue reading below:
Noon Year’s Eve | Children’s Discovery Museum | 9 am – 1 pm
If you and your kids are not down to stay up until midnight ringing in the new year, the Children’s Discovery Museum. Starting at 9 am, attendees will count down until it is noon. At noon the confetti will go off as the CDM brings in the new year 12 hours early. Before the noon ball drop, there will be face painting and other arts and crafts.
BNNA’s New Year’s Eve Party | Miller Park Pavilion | 6 pm – 12 am
BNNA’s annual New Year’s Eve Party returns Saturday with dinner and a DJ at the Miller Park Pavilion. Along with dinner and entertainment, there will be a bags and euchre tournament as well as a dessert contest.
Rockin Retro NYE | Jazz up Front | 7 pm – 12:30 am
Looking to go back in time for this year’s New Year’s Eve? No worries Jazz up Front has you covered with its party-throwing it back to the 1970s and 80s. Guests are encouraged to dress up in area-appropriate costumes. Attendance is $15 which includes party favors, drink specials and a champagne toast to ring in the new year.
Rockin’ New Years | Double Tree | 7:30 pm
Ring in the New Year at Double Tree with Hairbangers Ball performing. Guests can ring in the new year with drinks, hors d’oeuvres and a champagne toast.
New Year’s Eve Party featuring Style in Stereo | The Stable | 8 pm
Known as ‘Bloomington’s No. 1 party band’ Style in Stereo heads to the Stable to ring in the New Year. Tickets are still available for the event.
