Bloomington Gold celebrates 50th Anniversary this weekend in Uptown Normal

Bloomington Gold returned ‘home’ in 2022 after a nearly 30 year absence. In 2023, the group celebrates their 50th anniversary in the place where it all started. The ISU campus is host to this weekend’s festivities that include hundreds of cars on display, vendors, a swap meet, seminars, a special gold collection of Corvettes, and more.

The event runs Friday and Saturday 7:30am to 5:00pm. On Saturday things will wrap with a ‘Gold Tour’ on Route 66 that ends in an Uptown Normal Block Party.
