Paramount released a trailer for Better Man, where a CG monkey plays pop star Robbie Williams. The biopic explores his life from childhood to stardom. Williams voices the monkey character, and the film premieres Jan. 17.


DC Studios is developing the animated feature film Dynamic Duo, focusing on the origin story of Robins Dick Grayson and Jason Todd, not Batman and Robin. The film will explore the friendship between the two youths.


John Boyega & Danielle Deadwyler will play Otis Redding and his wife Zelma in the biopic Otis & Zelma, about the life of the late soul legend, focusing on his music and love for Zelma. It has the support of Redding’s estate.
