HBO renewed Dune: Prophecy for Season 2 just before Season 1 finale. The prequel, set over 10,000 years before Denis Villeneuve’s movies, is based on the Sisterhood Of Dune novel. It stars Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.
Neil Cavuto is leaving Fox News after a 28-year tenure. “His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry,” Fox said. “We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter.”
Hulu has renewed the series Tell Me Lies, based on Carola Lovering’s novel, for a third season. Grace Van Patten and Jackson White star as a couple in a tumultuous relationship over eight years. Season 2 sees them back in college.
Dr. Lilly Jay, ex-wife of Ethan Slater (who’s now with Ariana Grande), shared the impact of their divorce in an essay for The Cut. She says Slater left her and their newborn son after they moved to the UK so he could film Wicked.
Kevin Hart & Kenan Thompson will co-host 2024 Back That Year Up on Peacock on Dec. 23. The comedic special reviews the year’s highlights, along with celebrity interviews. This marks the third year they’ve hosted the special.
