The Above Ground benefit concert, hosted by Jane’s Addiction‘s Dave Navarro and Billy Idol guitarist Billy Morrison, has been postponed due to the ongoing Los Angeles fires.

The show, which raises money for MusiCares in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention, was scheduled to take place Jan. 25 at Hollywood’s Fonda Theatre. Navarro and Morrison were set to lead a group of special guests including Alice in ChainsJerry Cantrell and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses in performances of The Cars and New York Dolls‘ debut albums.

“It takes hundreds of hours from dozens of musicians, technicians and partners to produce Above Ground,” says manager and Above Ground co-founder Rick Canny. “Dave, Billy and I know that at this time there is a much greater use of the team’s collective energy, time, and attention.”

“We will have Above Ground 4 later this year,” Canny adds. “But right now, the focus is on the immediate needs of friends, our extended families, and the community at large.”

Previously purchased tickets will be honored at the rescheduled date, which is yet to be announced. Those who’d prefer a refund can contact their point of purchase.
