If by “this” you mean another #1 Linkin Park single, then this is, indeed, what you asked for.
The reformed band’s track “Heavy Is the Crown” has reached the top of the Billboard Rock & Alternative Airplay chart. It’s the second cut from LP’s 2024 comeback album, From Zero, to conquer the ranking, following lead single “The Emptiness Machine,” which led for 15 weeks.
Linkin Park now sits in third place for most #1 hits on Rock & Alternative Airplay, which started in 2009. Their seven leaders sit behind only Foo Fighters‘ 11 and Green Day‘s eight.
From Zero, which dropped in November, marked Linkin Park’s first new album since the 2017 death of frontman Chester Bennington, and their first with new vocalist Emily Armstrong.
Linkin Park will be spending a whole lot of 2025 touring the world in support of From Zero. The first U.S. leg launches in April.
