It has been a debate for years and returns every year around the holiday season: Is ‘Die Hard’ a Christmas movie?
That question is raised because the 1988 film takes place during the holiday season and it set around an office holiday party. But does that make it a Christmas movie? That’s where the argument begins. YouGov held a poll this year asking Americans to hopefully, but doubtfully, settle the long standing debate. So what did they think?
51% say ‘Die Hard’ is NOT a Christmas movie while 39% said it was. 13% in the poll had never seen the movie. It should be noted that Bruce Willis himself has said it is not a Christmas film. You think that would end the debate there, but that only furthered it.
