The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony happened on November 5. HBO will air a special condensed version of the event on Saturday, November 19 at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT. Then it will stream on HBO Max.
Rock Hall CEO & President Greg Harris called in to talk about the greatest moments of the ceremony, including Judas Priest singer Rob Halford getting his much desired selfie with Dolly Parton plus a duet with her. Also we talk about how the show gets produced. Speaking of Judas Priest they were inducted under the ‘Musical Excellence Award,’ I asked if that meant a ‘full induction’ for the group.
Moving on to the Class of 2023, Greg discusses how their committee meets and determines the nominees, if fan petitions get consideration, and who is on that committee.
