The World Championship Ice Racing Series returns to Grossinger Motors Arena February 10 after a 5 year break. I caught up with promoter Ken Remer to break down what to expect from what vehicles you’ll see on the ice, the races themselves, what the drivers was looking to win including the ‘Bloomington Belt’ which looks just like a pro-wrestling championship belt, and more. Ken also talks about how he got involved with the World Championship Ice Racing Series and what led him to become the owner of it.
It was interesting to hear Ken talk about his work as a stuntman on shows like Chicago Fire & P.D. plus films like Man of Steel and Batman.
