The 97th Oscars will be streamed live on Hulu for the first time ever, along with airing live on ABC, making the ceremony even more accessible. Conan O’Brien will host the ceremony, which takes place on Sunday, March 2nd 2025.


David Letterman’s production company has partnered with Samsung TV Plus to bring around 4,000 hours of archival clips and original video to its streaming service, by creating the new 24/7 on-demand channel Letterman TV.


The Friday Night Lights reboot series was picked up by Peacock after a bidding war. The show, set after a hurricane, follows a high school football team striving for a championship, becoming a symbol of hope for their community.


Disney is developing a live-action adaptation of the 2010 animated film Tangled, offering a modern interpretation of the Rapunzel story. Director Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) is attached, but no cast was announced.


Eddie Redmayne will join Julia Roberts and Elizabeth Olsen in Panic Carefully, directed and written by Sam Esmail (Mr. Robot). The paranoid thriller is said to be similar to The Silence Of The Lambs, but plot details are secret.

George Joseph Kresge Jr., better known as entertainer and mentalist The Amazing Kreskin, has died at 89. He entertained talk show audiences for decades with tricks like guessing playing cards and locating planted paychecks.


Dick Van Dyke shared on Facebook that he and his wife escaped the Malibu wildfires with all their pets except for their cat, Bobo, who ran off. The nearly 99-year-old expressed hope for Bobo’s safety and posted a video of the cat.
