Hidden Valley Ranch recently teamed with ice cream maker Van Leeuwen to create a ‘treat’ that taste like ranch dressing. Well, I found finally found a container of it at our local Walmart and decided to give it a try. You know, ‘for content’ purposes.
On the side of the container there’s a paragraph about Van Leeuwen and their French ice cream that concludes ‘a life without anything good is bad.’ Well let me tell you that ranch flavored ice cream is NOT good!
As you see in the video below, that was posted to both Twitter and TikTok, I had instant regret once the taste settled in. Oh it certainly is ranch flavored, super creamy ranch flavored. But not a good ranch flavor. It’s like someone poured ranch over your vanilla ice cream. Now, unless you’re into that sort of thing it’s terrible. I had the flavor lingering in my mouth for well over 30 minutes after the video was shot… and I was even drinking a Mountain Dew.
Some of the comments on TikTok said ‘Dip carrots in it,’ try ‘with fries as a milkshake,’ and ‘ranch goes on a lot of things. like a lot a lot. ice cream is not one of them.’ I agree with the last one giving it zero out of 5 starts, would not recommend. Haha.
