A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY as been issued for most of our listening area, counties listed below, from 6 PM Monday to 6 AM Wednesday.
Forecasters predicted Monday night will bring 1-3 of inches of snow overnight followed by a rain/snow mix Tuesday morning. That’ll turn to all snow by midday Tuesday with a trace of accumulation. Tuesday night more snow will fall with 1-2 inches of additional snow, bringing the storm total to 3-5 inches possible.
Tuesday night will also bring wind guest of 40-45 MPH. This will lead to blowing and drifting snow, resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Town of Normal HAS ISSUED a parking ban from January 8 until January 10. Details here.
