The City of Bloomington has issued a parking ban due to Winter Weather Advisory and freezing rain conditions. Here is the full press release:
Due to the forecasted winter weather the City of Bloomington will enact a Snow Route Parking Ban starting at 9:00 am on Monday, January 22, 2024, that will be in effect until 7:00 am Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
This is a city-wide street parking ban to allow Public Works Crews to salt and maintain City roadways. Our priority is to keep our Citizens and City workers safe and sound.
Those who do not have a driveway or alternative place to park their vehicles are welcome to use the parking lots of any of our City parks. A list of those facilities can be found HERE.
Residents can obtain updated information on crew’s progress by viewing the interactive map at bloomingtonil.gov/snow.
